GULLWING

GullWing utilizes a flexible membrane that is adhered to both the filmed glass as well as the window frame which prevents the filmed glass from leaving the opening at all.

This mechanical attachment system clamps the filmed glass to the window frame and allows the film to move under applied load without putting excessive force onto the fixings and frame.

How Does Security Film Work?

To achieve optimal performance, there are two essential elements for establishing a strong security system. The Security Film and the Attachment. While various strengths are available on the market, the most common options for anti-intrusion and bomb blast protection range from 8mil to 15mil. Our team is here to help you select the right film to suit needs. The second component is the attachment system. Security Film needs to be secured to the frame using either a wet glaze (structural silicone like Dowsil 995 or GE SCS2000) or a mechanical attachment system (such as FrameGard or Gullwing).
